Our very own John Tomlinson is ready to return as Throttleman for the Performance Boat Center’s Offshore Racing team. He will be racing alongside driver, Myrick Coil. Missouri-based Performance Boat Center is debuting their brand new 43′ MTI Cat World Champion Race Boat featuring dual 750HP racing engines and a carbon fiber hull. According to Brett Manire of Performance Boat Center, this race boat has some custom features never before seen in an MTI race boat.
About the Performance Boat Center Offshore Racing Team
As throttleman, Tomlinson is excited to control the speed and trim of the boat, hoping to reach top speeds with driver and teammate Myrick Coil. Supporting him is the rest of the Performance Boat Center offshore racing team led by owners Brett Manire and Mark Waddington, and sponsored by Jimmy Johns.
As a leader in the performance boat industry, John Tomlinson is no newcomer when it comes to offshore racing. The veteran offshore racer is a World Champion and has spent the past two decades throttling for and managing some of the world’s best-known offshore racing teams.
