John Tomlinson and Taylor Scism are victorious after a weekend of racing in St. Petersburg, FL. Racing in the 450 Stock Class, throttleman, Tomlinson, and driver, Scism, worked together to earn the win after a difficult nine-lap battle. Tomlinson and Scism secured the win after KLOVAR Motorsports attempted an aggressive move that resulted in a close save.
The 450 Stock Class made history in St. Petersburg, with teams earning national points for the first time in the category’s history because it had the three boats required by APBA rules to earn those points. Scism earned her first points in the national championship standings, making this race one to remember.
As Tomlinson and Scism continue to race together, they are becoming more comfortable with each other and can anticipate each other’s movements, leading them to victory time and time again.
