The RWO Offshore World Championship was held in Key West this past weekend. Due to potentially dangerous weather, Wednesday’s race was cancelled, resulting in only two races being held for the remainder of the week. Despite the change of events and some rough weather conditions, Tomlinson and Scism were victorious, bringing home the RWO World Championship for the Stock 450 Class. Tomlinson also took the podium in the Huski Wear Class 1 boat. Continue reading to learn more.
John Tomlinson teamed up with Carlos de Quesada to compete in Class 1 as team Huski Wear, with the duo placing second overall. It was a bit of a change for Tomlinson, who found himself struggling to control the smaller, lighter boat. Overall, Tomlinson and de Quesada had a great run despite the rough racing conditions.
Taylor Scism and John Tomlinson raced together again in the 450R Factory Stock, and came out on top. It was a tough battle getting to first place, with Scism ultimately bringing them to victory with her stellar driving experience. Click here for a replay of all the action from this weekend’s races!
